Searching online for a place to stay in Bohol, I looked at a bunch of pictures for resorts located in Panglao Island. I also looked for a Map of Panglao Island to look for mountains as i know that any mountain near the shore will result to a narrow beach and the depth of the water will increase faster, not to mention a lot of rocks just like in White Beach, Puerto Galera. Using scientific and analytical thinking lol! I decided to book at Bohol Beach Club.

As we arrive at the resort, it turned out that I was right. Because the water depth is only up to waist level even if you’re 50meters away from the shore, rocks and peebles are not washed up to the beach leaving only the fine white sand, finer than the sands of Boracay! But due to shallow and calm water, there are lots of starfish under the water, one of the few things that I didn’t like on this beach.

• Game Room – The resort is equipped with a game room which includes a billiard table, table tennis, a mahjong table and an air-conditioned karaoke room that can be rented at an affordable rate. All table games are free of charge for in-house guests.
• Swimming Pool – the resort offers three swimming pools with depths of 4-7 feet for adults and 2 swimming pools with 3-5 feet. One of the pools have an outdoor jacuzzi with a capacity of four persons.
• Meeting and Function Rooms – Bohol Beach Club has four in-door function rooms including the largest pillar less ballroom in the island of Panglao, the Bohol Pavilion, that can cater to various corporate and business meetings as well as convention requirements. From a small group of ten to a maximum capacity of 300 persons, you are assured that your meeting demands will be properly taken cared of.
