4 Apr 2007Going to a beach resort while staying in Naga City would be another item on the activity list that will truly make your stay in the region enjoyable.Traveling to Pasacao took us roughly 30 minutes from Libmanan, Camarines Sur. There is a jeepney route Naga-Pasacao that passes along the Hi-way that would bring you to Pasacao Resorts for a provincial minimum fare. Pasacao has beautiful attractive beaches particularly located in Barangay Balogo and Caranan which are frequently visited by tourists and excursionists during summer season.
Thus, it is highly advisable that you travel with a car because you can bring anything for your convenience and pleasurable stay. Anyway, they have a free of charge spacious lot for guests vehicles.
It is a summer holiday; we did not have any booking confirmation for an overnight stay that is why we were really disappointed because we can only be accommodated in a Cottage and not in a family room. Rooms were fully-booked. We came in late in the afternoon. Check in time for an overnight stay is 2:00 in the afternoon until 12 noon. Oh Well, it’s okay. We can sleep in the cottage, it’s not a problem. We all agreed that we’ll stay overnight to maximize our vacation. We decided to stay in Pasacao because traveling to see a butanding the biggest fish in the world found in Donsol, Sorsogon for like 10-12 hours is a pretty impulsive suggestion.
We held in reserve 2 cottages. We were starving for food. We have munchies but we didn’t bring food for dinner. We’re positive that some fishermen would offer a fresh fish for us. And someone did, we bought a very big squid for Php200 and an unknown kind of a yummy fresh fish for Php150. Fortunately, we’re in a very quick-witted team that someone took over cooking rice and grilling fish and squid for the group. A scrumptious dinner would not be complete without the young kids selling soy sauce; calamansi and red chili pack only for Php10.
A Php5.00 coin is for my favorite videoke song until…
Make sure that you have a pouch for Php5 coins. You would need that for whatever reason you may have when using the resort’s comfort rooms.
The hang about was great spiced up with creativity and fun. One thing is for sure, we learned to book a reservation to better lay our heads on a pillow than on our bags and bring in food.

Cottage Rate overnight Php300-Php400
Room Rates Php1800-Php3000
Please make a reservation on peak season
How to get there:
It is easy to travel by plane from Manila to Naga City, which takes about 1 hour for a very reasonable price. At the moment there are two airlines which have daily flights between Manila and Naga (Asian Spirit and Philippine Airlines) or alternatively, travel by bus from Naga to Pasacao/Balogo, you may take a local jeepney/bus and it takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
