We love shawarma and kebabs, we previously featured two places that served kebabs, and my friend Paeng, recommended that we try Uncle Moe’s Shawarma Hub. It’s an alternative to Mister Kebab as they are priced about the same. Uncle Moe’s Philippines is a simple place that serve good food, their kebabs taste for me almost the same as Mister Kebabs, with subtle key differences.

They have two branches at the moment, and the one we’ve visited is on City Golf driving range along Julia Vargas Ave, in Ortigas area. Another branch is along United street, it’s between Pioneer and Shaw Blvd in Pasig Kapitolyo area.

The ambiance of the place is different as they serve beer, so most of the customers are drinking, the place is a bit smallish and as most of the customers are drinking and socializing, it gets quite noisy inside.

About the food, at least for me, its a bit better than Mister Kebab, most people rave about their Chicken Kebab, but our favorite is Beef Kebab so we get their Kebab Platter.

Their Beef Keema is different as I think theirs is sauted, it taste somehow like a crossover between friend corned beef and sisig. But its good, as I think the Beef Keema that I’ve tasted before are too bland and wet.
