21 Oct 2007Chicharritos are specially prepared bite-size chicharrones using selected imported pork rind. Carefully kettle-cooked through a perfected recipe to bring out the delicious, tender cracklin’ goodness of pork chicharron.
I was asked by my Aunt to look for a chicharon pack that was described to me being cooked like “besuto” that pops bigger. I didn’t know there’s this “besuto like chicharon” in the market aside from the regular packed pork chicharon, until I discovered where they bought one- in Market Market! I was able to find the stall near the entrance with the description given to me and was blessed that the sales person who happens to be Reynalyn assisted and welcomed my questions nicely. She told me that as of the moment they have only 3 branches: Metro Market! Market! that’s one, Pasong Tamo and South Supermarket Alabang.
My dear Aunt instructed me to buy 3-4 packs however, the expiration is just so near: November 27, 07 and these Chicharritos will be sent to the US for my Aunt Lut. Reynalyn explained to me that their products shelf life from production date is 3 months. Hence, I bought 2 packs of 240g Bacon ‘n Rind Chicharritos (Php215) Delicious bite-sized Instant pork chicharron in just 2 minutes and a pack of Ready to eat Garlic & Vinegar All Rind Chicharritos (Php60) to give it a taste.
What I personally like about Chicharritos aside from its taste is the special packaging that it has, I can say that it was designed with quality taste and to be exported. True enough, most of Chicharritos customers are balikbayans or Filipinos abroad like my Aunt.
For the Filipinos who haven’t tasted it, especially the balikbayans, if you missed eating your favorite chicharon, you may start sending your families here a request to send you a delightful export quality Chicharritos.
Chicharritos is available in ready-to-puff packs: Chicharrittos Bacon ‘n Rind and All Rind Instant Chicharron. With Chicharritos instant, it is now possible to make your own piping hot chicharron quickly and hassle-free anytime in the privacy of your kitchen.

You’re oh so right! Garlic & Vinegar All Rind Chicharrito had always been my favorite esp. when Im in Alabang.. not only because it’s cheaper (than the other packages) but it’s good to share it during drinking sessions…speaking of Chicharon, can u still remember the name of the Chicharon that we used to have in San Miguel? Im not sure if it’s still in the market but it’s yummy as well

I tried the chicharritos which I bought in one supermarket here in Dubai for curiosity and I found it really delicious and it’s crunchiness was really awesome. Try it dear kabayans and you wont regret.
